Young Sund Campaign 2016

Marine field work is scheduled to take place in late July-early August. At present work will focus around two projects: 1) the marinebasis monitoring program will be conducted by the Greenland Institute of Natural Resources in collaboration with Aarhus University. 2) In collaboration with ARC, scientists from France and Canada will continue activities initiated in 2014 and 2015. Their work will focus on using accustics to monitor behavior and activity of key benthic species and their predators (walruses), and on studying bivalve reproduction and recruitment.
