Introduction
The objectives of the ASP Operations Team are:
- to support ASP science activities
- to ensure efficient use of logistical resources
- to ensure that everything is in the right place at the right time
Activities / Responsibilities
- to coordinate the operations on common field work acitvities
- to collect timely information about project operations, e.g. by being involved in proposal development
- to maintain close group communication, e.g. video conference meetings and annual meetings
- to ensure shipping on time, e.g. by communication of deadlines to scientists and through closely team-coordination
- to ensure safety in the field and work for common standards between the institutions
- to provide overview of equipment inventories
