Baysys Team 2: Freshwater and Littoral Systems

Baysys Team 2: Freshwater and Littoral Systems

Start/end date:
Sunday, December 20, 2015 - 10:15
Event type:
The objective of Team 2 is to investigate the role of freshwater timing and magnitude on contemporary and future projections of freshwater-marine coupling in Hudson Bay as a means of understanding the relative contributions of regulation and climate change to the system. Results from this team will be central to the ability of other teams to evaluate the impacts of climate change and hydroelectric regulation on the physical, biological and biogeochemical processes in Hudson Bay. The outcomes have the potential to benefit regulators with operation and optimization strategies, future infrastructure development, and implementation of adaptation measures for current development.
